Branding for a private equity real estate investment firm focused on China.

ARE was founded in January 2019 as a result of the spin-off of global private equity giant The Carlyle Group’s China real estate investment management practice, which then consisted of equity capital under management of US$470 million.

As a start-up with a big leg up, the client partnered with ipulse to create their visual identity, brand guidelines, and company website.

We created a brand mark that is modern, investment-driven and links back to the firms’ ethos.

Color & material

The client was clear that the brand colour needed to link back to the Carlyle Group which is a corporate blue. We chose to add the bright accent blue to compliment and energise the brand mark.
